The product code number, also known as PCN, contains four alpha-numeric characters which can be found on the back of most mailing machines and underneath the weighing platform for most scales. Here are some examples of Pitney Bowes product code numbers: K7M0, 1C00, 9K0R or W9AR.

The model name/number is what can be found on the product operating manual or on the product itself. Examples of Pitney Bowes model names/numbers are: mailstation2™, AddressRight® Pro Software, Integra or DM800™.
