Most Pitney Bowes engineers are headquartered in the Technology Center in Shelton, Connecticut, the heart of the company's R&D and product development efforts—but they often take on challenging assignments in the field as well.
TechCenter project leaders assemble teams by drawing from four functional groups: Mechanical/Electrical/Systems, Software, Product Usability and Design and Technical Support/Operations Engineers are encouraged to take advantage of the company's tuition reimbursement program to increase their knowledge and advance their careers, which can take a core team management path or a technical track, where their focus is on invention, patent acquisition and publication.
