Our Philanthropic Resources
Our philanthropic resources include four distinct programs - each with distinct priorities.
The Pitney Bowes Literacy & Education Fund
This private charitable foundation provides funding to literacy and education initiatives in key locations where Pitney Bowes has a significant presence.
The Pitney Bowes Employee Involvement Fund
This private foundation provides employee-driven funding to charitable organizations supported by Pitney Bowes employees and retirees. The fund provides financial contributions in the form of volunteer grants and matching gifts and supports employee community service activities.
Pitney Bowes Corporate Contributions
Our corporate giving program funds other strategic charitable events, programs and organizations. The majority of this funding supports key partner charities upon whose boards our employees serve at the company’s request. Other funds are delegated to local employee grant-making committees in key communities.
The Pitney Bowes Relief Fund
Pitney Bowes sponsors a 501(c)(3) charitable trust that provides financial and other assistance to Pitney Bowes employees and others who have been affected by natural disasters and personal tragedies. Pitney Bowes covers administrative costs, thereby allowing 100% of employee contributions and matching funds to go to support those in need. Founded in 1992 after Hurricane Andrew, this fund has given away more than $1.7 million since its inception.
